Boutique retailer Kim Bartlett Master Jewellers has brought a splash of luxury to Townsville in time for Mother’s Day.
The family-owned business was hand-picked to carry a rare collection of Australian South Sea Pearls from Kailis Jewellery, the company heralded for pioneering the industry.
Jay Bartlett, who co-owns the Denham Street design studio and showroom with his father Kim, said the pearl collection included necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants and rings.

“Kailis Jewellery is known for producing some of the finest sea pearls in the world and it’s an honour to bring their collection to Townsville, especially in time for Mother’s Day,” said Jay Bartlett.

“The brand has many loyal customers in our region and this is the first time any retailer has stocked their pearls north of Gold Coast.

“We have absolutely no doubts that customers from around the region will embrace these jewels as timeless keepsakes for themselves and for others.”

While Kim Bartlett Master Jewellers has specialised in custom designing and hand-crafting jewellery for the past 39 years, the business has expanded to carry iconic brands since opening its new centre on Denham Street last year.
In July the store became Queensland’s only retailer of Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, a brand worn by Princess Mary and supermodel Helena, to name a few.

“Like our company, these brands are family-owned jewellery houses with a commitment to craftsmanship, which has helped us build a reputation amongst many iconic names in the industry,” Jay added.
